You couldn’t ask for a more perfect wedding day at The Merrimon-Wynne House in Downtown Raleigh.
This was such a beautiful day filled with beautiful people at a beautiful venue. I absolutely love the Merrimon Wynne House. It’s a timeless and classic venue and was absolutely perfect for this wedding. One of my favorite parts of Merrimon Wynne is that you feel completely secluded even though you’re in downtown Raleigh. You get all the city vibes once you step off the property. When you’re on the Merrimon Wynne property, you truly feel like you have it all to yourself which is uncommon in a lot of downtown wedding venues.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the details of this wedding day? From Catelynne’s dress to Robert’s jacket – it all came together so perfectly! Catelynne and Robert were such a joy to photograph. I did their engagement session a year before their wedding day so it’s always fun to reunite with an amazing couple! I will never forget that after the ceremony, the bridal part and family are all getting drinks before starting photos and Robert specifically requested a root beer float. I love it when couples have the most fun at their weddings!
The bridesmaids wore a beautiful sage green dresses, while the groomsmen wore classic black suites with champagne bowties. Overall, it was such a classic wedding which was gorgeous!
