You truly can’t go wrong with a summer engagement session in downtown Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Between the charming streets, historic buildings, and cozy small-town energy, it’s such a sweet spot for photos that feel both classic and relaxed. Alison and Steven’s engagement session was an absolute joy from start to finish. These two were so cute and genuinely happy together, and it showed in every moment we captured. Their session was full of laughter and the kind of comfort that comes from being best friends. Downtown Fuquay-Varina was the perfect location because it is now the place they call home.
We had so much fun during their shoot, especially bonding over our shared love of cats and chatting about their move to the area. Those conversations always make sessions feel more like hanging out with friends than just posing for photos. Engagement sessions will always be one of my favorite parts of the wedding journey. They’re such a great chance to slow down, connect, and get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. It’s also the perfect time to talk wedding plans and get even more excited about what’s ahead for these two.
